Getting Started

At Chip Dee Academy of Music we teach Piano & Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Drums & Percussion, Vocals, Singing & Songwriting,  Trombone, Trumpet, Woodwinds and Violin / Cello lessons.  

Our instructors have over 40 years combined teaching experience in instrumental and vocal instruction. At the Chip Dee Academy of Music,  we are all professional musicians who’ve played throughout the U.S. as well as abroad. But more importantly, we are all music educators either pursuing certification or already certified. We have taught in conventional public/private school settings as well as preschools, special needs programs, (we have set up several in various school districts), geriatric centers, developmentally disabled programs for adult and psychiatric centers.  At Chip Dee Academy of Music the emphasis is on music as an educational, therapeutic, and performance medium.  

At Chip Dee Academy of Music we teach you how to read, write (compose), and perform music. We teach how to express your emotions, to love, and be passionate about the one universal language in the world and to do this to the best of your individual ability. To be serious, and have fun. To know what it is to work hard towards a goal. But also to unwind and relax and enjoy what you’ve learned. To bring out the inner artist in each and every person in their own unique way and style of music.

We are also looking at the way the student learns and how to tailor that to their specific needs.
